“Leopoldo Pomés. Flashback”, until July 12th at La Pedrera
“Leopoldo Pomés. Flashback” is the name of the retrospective dedicated to the works of Leopoldo Pomés, which are being exhibited until July 12th at La Pedrera in Barcelona.
The exhibit showcases close to 40 photographs, 50 advertising spots and various paintings by friends and creative peers from the group ‘Dau al Set’, which included Antoni Tàpies, Joan Brossa and Modest Cuixart. This exhibit extensively reviews the career of one of the city’s most influential portraitists of Barcelona itself during the second half of the 20th century.
This is an excellent exhibit, which will either remind us, or introduce us to another Barcelona, as seen through the talented eye of this multifaceted artist.
In addition to visiting this exhibit, you will be able to see the results of the recent and intense restoration of the facade of La Pedrera, one of the city’s most iconic buildings.
